GardenDonkey "Revolution" • Product Video

Client: GardenDonkey

When Brad Martin, owner at GardenDonkey, approached me to make a video that showcased his phenomenal new weeding tool, "The Revolution," I jumped at the chance. Shamefully, I have a weed problem in my own backyard, so I was instantly sold on his product when he demoed it for me at our initial production meeting.

Brad needed a way to show the tool in action, illustrating how it can handle seemingly "impossible" weeding jobs with ease. Video does this in a way that pictures or text on a website just can’t.

The finished piece carries the personality and attitude unique to Brad and the GardenDonkey brand, and shows us just how "revolutionary” the Revolution really is.

GardenDonkey • Logo Design

In addition to filming the product video, I designed the brand identity and logo for the company. Working on the video and logo in tandem was a great way to create an overall synthesis between brand and video.

The idea was to portray the toughness and spirit that the GardenDonkey tools embody. I set out to developed a brand mark that was both organic and strong. The end result is one firmly rooted in the past but also as innovative and future-looking spirit of the GardenDonkey tools.
